Brutus's Dilemma

Brutus has to face a moral dilemma, should he do whats best for Rome or should he believe in what Caesar has in mind? In the end he decides or gets persuaded into thinking that Caesar is not a good leader for Rome and will only lead to chaos. But in the end it all comes down to "was this the right thing to do?"
If I was Brutus then I would not kill Caesar or give into Cassius. I would see that by letting Caesar rule I would be doing what is best for Rome. I think this is correct way to think because he is a strong, and wise person who would probably do whats best for Rome. In the first few pages of 1:1, it is about how people are very happy with Caesar and how Caesar managed to conquer Spain from Pompey. I think this shows that Caesar was probably a very strong person and certainly brave enough to attempt such dangerous tasks. This also proves that he was doing this for the good of Rome. And I think that by letting him live I,Brutus, would have been doing the correct thing.
Another reason I would have let him live is because Caesar was able to see through Cassius and know that there is probably something not trust able with him which was a true assumption.
So to summarize in my mind Caesar is the perfect leader and if I was Brutus I would not kill such a person.

Leadership

I think that the qualities of a good leader is that they should be kind, thoughtful,wise,strong,brave, and listens to the people and do what is best for them. They should have no fears and make everyone fear him yet like him at the same time. The leader should be respected and should respect everyone. They should not only be strong but also very clever and should always have an idea of consequences and have a plan ready for emergencies. I would like to say that SLAMS is our leader but it is not. In this school every student is their own leader. SLAMS are not in my mind because they aren't gaining MY respect by giving us dances and other SLAMS sponsored events they will gain my respect by organizing for the students BENEFIT.
